ex. http://www.equis.com#-o
Your HTML code:
[code:1:2d7c8c2a74][url]http://www.equis.com[/url][/code:1:2d7c8c2a74]
This works:
MetaStock Forum
HTML code:
[code:1:2d7c8c2a74][url=http://forum.equis.com]MetaStock Forum[/url][/code:1:2d7c8c2a74]

Now that's interesting...
The syntax is as follows:
[code:1:d590aafe1d]Method 1: [url]http://url[/url] or,
Method 2: [url=http://url]URL text[/url][/code:1:d590aafe1d]
Until our update both ways worked. Honestly, I didn't test the latter because I don't use it that often. I don't know what the answer is, but it has to be something simple... thanks for double checking it! :)
Method 1a: [code:1:d590aafe1d][url]http://url[/url][/code:1:d590aafe1d]
Method 1a: http://url

I have both BBCode & HTML allowed in my profile, and the original URL tag format still doesn't work. Patrick's posted link works fine.

It won't accept the http:// part of the code. Like most things, strip it and it works. :D
http://equis.com <<--- no
equis.com <<--- yes
Still, not like it used to be even though we figured out another way to make it do the right thing.
