Setting up multiple user accounts in Windows XP In order to set up a new user account, log in using your administrator account. (If there are no other accounts currently on your machine, then you ARE the administrator) Click Start Choose Control Panel Click User Accounts Windows invites you to choose a task. Among the choices are Changing Accounts, Adding New Accounts, and Changing Logon/Log Off Options. Click Create A New Account Step 1 in the wizard dialog box that appears is to name the account. Enter the name you would like to appear for the users. Click the Next button. Choose the type of account, limited or administrator. (Users that have administrator access can make any changes they wish to the computer, those users with limited access however can not.) Hi Konrad, I will give a little help. See the attached photo for the files and folder names. The file size should help you know what is what. PS some of these files are customized, therefore your size might be different. and also would depend on your version of each file. === Do one thing, at least password protect your screensaver with a short time limit. like (one minute). this way if you leave your computer it will be protected (against young brothers)! Konrad- Don't you think this is more likely a problem with your own computer files being corrupted rather than a problem with MS or the data provider? Did you say that you're about to reinstall XP Pro? If so, I'll bet it'll work and this utility checker will be pointless. Either way, let us know how it turns out on your fresh reinstall. Also, make a backup image once you get things setup. next time this happens, you can restore the image without all of these headaches. Just a thought...
