I find it very useful to save all my MetaStock formulae as a PDF doc (approx 10Mb PDF for my whole MS indicator collection), and sometimes convert it to text as well.
As a bonus, I can then use the find function to search for that obscure piece of MetaStock code lurking amongst the '000's of formulae...
To save the MetaStock's complete indicator formulae collection:
MetaStock -> Tools -> Indicator Builder -> select all indicators
(Shift+End) -> Print (to PDF doc).
Repeat this process for the Expert Advisor,System Tester & Explorer formulae.
To print to PDF doc (instead of printer, and saving trees in the process):

Konrad, I only use the pdf2txt converter. Saving MetaStock formulae in any other format is asking for trouble when it comes to copy & pasting code.
