Not at this point... there are 5 hospitals in the area that are under mandatory evacuation that are diverting to our hospital and others. For the time being the life of community service is calling. So, I'm here for the duration.
I read an update a bit ago that said the course of the storm has changed a bit and we may be better off for it. It's still of concern though. Heck, even NASA evacuated.
I'll keep you updated as I can... this is g! coming to you from the eye of the storm!!

Pup as in kid? or pup as in puppy?:) Either way... if they are heading north no probs.... especially if they are potty trained... :)M though princess kitty would probably prefer a kid to a pup... :)

Hey Guys-
I've got my power back!!!!! It was down for 42 hours. I'm actually happy because I understand that some folks will be without power until October 10th. Gosh, I can't even imagine that. We survived with minimal damage. Mostly it was an inconvenience that was aggravated by panic, but that's just my take on it. I've been working at the hospital for the last 96 hours straight with minimal sleep, but it's been exciting. They gave me today off and I will resume a 48 hour shift in the morning. I'm starting to think that there's more to life than work. Hmm... :-k LOL!
Anyway... We're OK in Houston.
