 Investorkk- Do you have an example of the securities and indicators you are trying to copy? For example, AAPL with an RSI, MA, CCI, etc. I'm not understanding your 100 indicators... Do you mean 100 securities with a few indicators? If so, you could do that through the System Explorer. If you're talking about an exploration then you'll be limited to 6 indicators (ColA-F), but you'll be able to get those 6 indicators for as many securities as you want. However, you'll only get spot values for each rather than day-by-day values you'd get following Hayseed's instructions. His way gives you the most data.

Thanks for reply g_stokman, I mean one stock with 100 indicators. As you said before our limitation is six in the exploration... I just want to know how can I increase this number from six to hundred it is impossible in exploration....Is there any other program or add-in for the metastock program that we can easily export it to excell or any other programme.

Well... hold on a sec... you could set up your excel worksheet using OLE links, I suppose. Check your User's Manual in the index for 'OLE, creating links'. The exact page will depend on what version of MS you are using. I sure would like to see a screen shot of your security with 100 indicators attached though. That must have taken an incredible amount of time to develop. Are you trading RT or EOD? Just wondering what kind of lag is involved with updating 100 indicators...

hi there, I have the similar problem  . I need to build a database of stocks with their relative indicators next to them for some analysis. I have a total number of indicators of ~50 and total number of stocks ~350. If I use the explorer, I can have and save a list of all the 350 stocks with at most 6 indicators next to them, but unfortunately for one single day  . Where as I would like to have and need this data for some number of past days - say 500, not to mention the relatively simple problem of 6 indicators limit still remains unresolved . So an example of my database would be like; Ticker, Date, Volume, High, Low, Close, Accum/Distrib, ArrDwn, ArrUp, CCI, ChMonFlow, etc as the column headers (fields) and the relative information for all 350 stocks and 500 days as the records. Is there any method to extract this information from MS? It would be great to have something like a command line interpretter - say you pass some shell command to MS and it writes Ticker, Date, Volume, High, Low, Close, etc to disk, depending on the paramaters of this shell command. Then I could generate these commands  . I would appreciate any suggestions.

Really... check out the OLE section of the manual. It sounds like something that can solve this problem for you. Alternatively, if you are using QuoteCenter then you could set this up as a DDE link and code the indicators into Excel. As mentioned, it would require some knowledge of the formula language in order to make convert the indicators this way. However, the simple indicators should be a breeze. If you're really industrious, you could incorporate both methods into your worksheet; but, I think OLE alone sounds like it will work.
