Hi all, this is my first posting here...I'm experiencing a strange problem with The Downloader. Basically, when I click on the "open" button, everything disappears. I've tried to reinstall all Metastock, but it doesn't work, so I'm genuinely puzzled.
Any advice?

What version of metastock and what version of windows?

Uh yeah, sorry. I have Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed, and my version of Metastock is 7.0.

Try changing the compatibility mode to windows 2000 see if that helps.
Right click on the downloader icon, select properties, select the compatiility tab and pick run as windows 2000. Also check the "disable visual themes" option.
