hey gary.... thats a good question.... its common to focus on the 'trends' section of the expert, bullish and bearish.... thats where most will put their buy/sell rules.... take a look at the meta provided 'highlights example' and the 'momentum indicators' experts..... both of those have multiple buy/sell rules one using only highlights and the other using only symbols...... you can expand greatly on that line of thinking and end up with some really amazing charts all with multiple experts..... its really just a combination of experts into one.... the symbols are straight forward but care must be taken with the highlights, it can get confusing if to many colors are being used...... the end result will be similar to that chart, but by no means stop there...... i'll post a far better example later....h

You can only attach 1 expert per chart! That said, do give up hope! You can put one system into the trends section of the expert, another into the highlights section. Another option is to create an indicator of the system, and apply it in the chart then create it as a template. There you can have at least 3 systems showing on a chart

hey gary .... yeah thats the plan.... when we get download accomplished you can better see what i'm doing.... you'll like it.... my problem at this point is while smart charts, formulas, layouts and templates are just 1 file each, expert advisors have 2..... those have to be seperated to upload .... on the download side they have to be recombined.... sounds simple enough but i'm getting a syntax error when i combine..... patricks exe solution is by far the best and most likely the path we'll take..... didn't mention it before but the alert function will work across them all also, whether its paging, calling. or emailing, all will work independetly.....h

Hay hayseed, I have tried to copy the password protected expert advisors, with an aim to combine some good ones into a singal advisor, but it can't be done....... how can we resolve that? ... perhaps, Patrick can say some words here to help us.... Gary

hey gary..... i shy away from fiddling with passwords.... here is a zip file of my old 3 musketeers ...... create a folder on your desktop, download the zip file into that folder and then unzip it..... import that unziped 3muskeeters file into your meta.... meta will not import anything other than files it reconigizes..... that expert is a combination of about 6 or 7 of equis's standards.... i have all buys labeled with a green up arrow and all sells labeled with a red down arrow...... you'll also see i have the text in a vertical fashion, otherwise words would overlap.... its views best with a black chart background..... for some reason between my upload and the download the arrows are being changed to letters, 'p' , 'o'. 'j' and such..... can't figure out why.... you can change them to arrows.... patrick has mentioned before about the commentary section limit, so place only the most important comment's in it..... i'll post some better ones later..... i'm using 9.1......h

Hi hayseed / Patrick, As I am using MS 8.0 while hayseed's multiple expert advisor is using MS 9.1, I can't import it. Could you help me to import the file? Gary

Hi Patrick / hayseed thanks for your inputs..... 1) It seems to me that I need to upgrade to MS 9.1 if I want to import hayseed's work. Do I need to pay for whole amount as a new user or an upgrade amount at a discount? 2) Or I should combine the Expert Advisor(EA) by myself. hayseed, can you show me more clues (capture images) to help me to do this? 3) One clarification: I can't combine with an expert advisor that is password protected, right? 4) Are those password protected EA (pp:CCI; pp: Bollinger Band (modified); ....) for EOD analysis only? 5) Patrick, for your information....... (I have done something at my risk!!) Well, I have tried to import haysee's 3 musketeers by renaming it from 92 to 80...... it did import something but with some errors.... don't know what it has imported.... Cheers Gary

hey gary.... the problem probably lies in my use of 9.1 .... let me find my 9.0 version and i'll post that.... not being familiar with 8 this is only a guess, the meta 9 version likely will work for you.... '1' marilyn/patrick could answer better than me.... '2' the first time might be confusing but its easy to combine them yourself, i'll post some better explanations on how.... '3' it would be very difficult to edit, which includes adding anything, to the password protected experts... those would/should be best used as they came...... '4' most, if not all, password protected experts should work on all time frames.... '5' i get errors also after the download.... it changes the arrows to letters.... still can't figure that out..... will post the 9.0 version later along with better instructions on the how to's..... when i get the camtasia program things like this will be far clearer to see.....h

Just a comment: When several different conditions are defined in an Expert (under the Symbol Tab - only one I checked) and more than one is true the Expert will only display on the chart the higher one in the list.

Hi Gary - From 8.0 to 9.1 EOD is $129 plus right now we are throwing in the Finding the Right Trades training workbook and CD. Pro to Pro.. can't quite remember the pricing right now... something in the $200ish range. I think you can take advantage of the special at www.equis.com/cu95 Sorry I don't have more info... :) M

Hi hayseed, I have attached the 3 musketeers. But I find that it is a bit difficult to handle quite a lot of signals issued by different expert advisors. Can you share your experience in using it? .. maybe in terms of the timeframe used, how to filter out non-usable signals.....etc many thks! sa

hey sa.... your right, the signals can be excessive.... i try to limit them to 3 or 4 at most.... something like macd, macd histogram and ps stoch rsi.... using the daily chart with only 60 days showing seems to work best.... the scale on the y axis sometimes has to be changed to fit the vertical text ..... when applied to something like the dia, spy, oex, intc or csco it seems to be readable...... h
