importing ASCII files - not updated on charts [RESOLVED]

Hi,
I have recently installed historical data from a Paritech CD.
I have several .MWD and .DAT files in my Database.
I now want to import EOD data form another provider (Cooltrader- AUStralia) and am able to convert and successfully import the data into the correct folders.
However, I now have TXT documents and .DAT and MWB files in the same folder. The TXT files are not read as the chart does not reflect the new data.
Q: How can I successfully import ASCII files into Metastock that already has data files from Paritech so that the charts are updated to reflect the latest dates in the database?

Sorry for that post... Just discovered what I did wrong: I set the destination to be ASCII files in stead of Metastock. It's all working now!
