I have big probem on my metastock pro 9.0 , Expert Advisor, and System tester not work , when I try to open one of them is say "The system tester encountered an error while opening it's central file. A repair was attempted, but proved unsuccessful. Please contal Equis support for assistance with this issue". " A fatal error occured initalizing the System Tester"

I try do reinstal metastock by add-remove option in control panel , and Regedit option , and instal again, but that not work out, Should 9.1 version help me out solve those all problems? or I need to reinstal my whole windows xp pro? and instal again metastock pro(that took about 29 hours to work)

rename this file :
C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\MetaStock\\ST_Data.mdb
Rename it OLD.MDB
Unfortunately my net is that it's trashed and that you have lost all your simulations .... Anyways let me know what how it goes.

Click on Start, My Computer, double click on your disk drive C
Double click on pogramfiles, double click on equis
Here delete the file called st_data.mdb

problem fixed, but I check in offline beacuse I can not open metastock pro ? when I click on metastock just show me message metastock pro and not running, what I need to do now?"it has not error quote or anything, my dataprovider work with is esignal , when I try to click two time on mtastock icon it show my that metastock is already open, but it not open
by the way what was that file OLD. MDB? what those file is using for?

Restart your computer and then start metastock again ...

there is no quote on error, when I click on metastock pro icon it show me metstock pro screen but this program is not loading just stay and look like freezing :(

And it works offline? Try reinstalling metastock then ... Restart your computer before trying to install metastock again.

I got it now, My firewall sygate personal pro now allow metastock to get online!

Patrick, Can I use Reuters Datalink as may data provider for Quotecenter? for Warsaw stock Exchange, How to setup up Quotecenter for Warsaw Stock Exchange? Do I need some disk to upgrade? or there is some web site that I can download update? Do I need some other subcribtion to get a Quotecenter for Warsaw Stock Exchange? I have Reutersdatalink EOD for Europen Stock Exchange Package

I would like to add that if you have two copies of Metastock, you can erase the ST_Data file from the Metastock with problems. At its place copy&paste the ST_Data file from the version working fine.
