First of all you need to make sure you have MetaStock pro for Esignal ... Then contact esignal by phone or through their website and signup for a data feed account.

Start MetaStock, click on file, new , chart.
Select esignal on this window , change the periodicity to what you want ( for example minute ) and double click on a symbol ...

Well when you install the program there is a prompt asking to select your real time data provider, there you need to select esignal ...
You may want to reinstall your software if esignal is not an option in MetaStock ...

now it's working
now, last thing is how od i save the 5 min. data on my computer?
i got an error from esignal that there are too many symbols?

Hey Giladbi-
Smartcharts will autosave and update when you reload realtime data. To save a copy, select File | Save As | set "save as type: Chart". That will save the data locally.
Have a look at Hayseed's post on e-signal symbols:

As Patrick said, if you don't see your vendor, you may need to reinstall MS. It might be worth your while to check out this post on resetting your data vendor: http://forum.equis.com/viewtopic.php?t=1154

and it didn't help
looks like i need to remove it and than to install (that post is not helping btw) and i will
1. how do i keep my system i have built?
2. how do i keep the charts i saved from esignal that they will not be deleted?
3. how do i remove the system tester plot from the chart? (i want to remove the buy/sell signals
4. how do i set to test a system on 5 min charts when the data is saved as 1 min chart?
5. how do i change the the time frame showed on the chart to be NY est time and not my computer time?
i know it''s too many q. for one thread....

Before removing everyhting and being upset, why don't you make sure you have MetaStock for Esignal ... To me it sounds like you have the wrong version of the software ... Contact Equis please and check that you have the right product before uninstalling and deleting anything.

working with my esignal account and getting data on real time with no problems but to thoughs i mentioned on the above post
