hey yall..... has anyone ever ran across the timing missing in the system tester results.... i see this occasionaly and can't figure out why..... the last trade has closed so there is nothing open.... the 0 loss under unprofitable were just breakevens.... it can't be my code , its just 18 simple characters .... no prev ref or anything like that..... i'm using spy and dia, but it won't print using csco or intc either...... everything looks in order but no timing......any thoughts..... thanks......h

hayseed, Could you elaborate on "missing timing"? Is this an error message or did you just not get any trades in the test?

hey joe.... its not an error message and all trades are returned properly ....... on the lower right of the system test summmary are the profitable, unprofitable and out of market timings..... for some reason no totals are being returned.... in the past occasionaly i'll notice them missing, even on some of metas systems but its rare.... the timing values are something i focus on...... it can't be my code, its too simple a code with no prev, ref, or fml functions..... there is not an open trade.... and the unprofitable trades shows 3 but no loss, thats correct also, they were breakeven's....... can't figure why no timing......h

The only thing I can think of is the trade is entered and exited on the same bar. Could this be the case?

hey joe.... thanks.... figured it out, its the trailing stop.... i was using meta's stock version on the order page rather than build my own and include it with my buy/sell rules... if you use meta's trailing stop you must also choose a period value.... i was not specifying a period... for some reason the lack of it kills the timings......h
