Hi everyone I am new to Metastock and want to run a simple exploration.
Would somebody be kind enough to give me the formulae for a new Weekly high over a 52 week period (not a rolling 52 week high) please and explain to me how to input this new formulae into my exploration step by step.. I use Metastock 11.
The results from this I will run through a system test eventually.
I have been trying to add a formulae into Metastock Explorer and keep getting errors.
Also does anyone know a good tutorial on the internet that explain how to create a explorer formulae and input it and how to create a system test formulae and input it.

You don't mention which periodocity you plot your chart or which periodocity you want to run your exploration!
I would suggest that you do a search in this forum for the formula primer,go through that and you will have a leg up on how to write formulas. The next thing that I would do is read the manual that came with the software
If you are using weekly data H>Ref(HHV(H,52),-1)
If you are using daily data H>Ref(HHV(H,252),-1)
