When we originally released the MetaStock Online Community forum, it was released with a rich text editor that worked in Internet Explorer, Chrome, FireFox and Safari. At some point this broke and now appears to only be working with FireFox. For the most part this didn’t affect forum posts; however formula posts that contains a ‘less than’ sign weren’t displaying code after the ‘less than’ sign – thereby rendering those formulas incomplete.

Today we released a new text editor that fixes the above problem. We’ve done extensive testing and are happy with the results; however there is a concern over editing older posts. Due to this, we advise that you do NOT edit older formula posts unless they were created after December 6, 2012.

Thank you to jjstein and wabbit for their help in resolving this issue.

I looked through thousands of posts and touched them up as best I could.

If you find one that is messed up, please don't edit it! (edit and save).

I can likely fix it if you let us know about it.

I would need the URL of the post. (post them here or email to support@metastock.com)

thanks

A pretty good summary (with pictures) of how to clear the cache for most of the browsers around today can be found here : http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache
