                Hello,
In a third party package the following formula is used without any parentheses to clarify operations precedence : "A and B or C and D or E"

I would like to know how Metastock is going to calculate it. Can you please provide me with the equivalent formula using parentheses at the right places

Thanks a lot for your help.

 Regards,

 M. Hireche

If you look up "Operator Precedence" in the manual, it says that AND will take priority over OR, so your formula should be calculated as:
 (A and B) or (C and D) or E
