Hi All,
I am new to metastock have just some basic understanding of coding. I want an exploration for acceleration bands- Price headley - BIG TRENDS. I have the formula for the same, but not able to get correct exploration result.
Formula is as follows:
Mov(H*(1+2*(((H-L)/((H+L)/2))*1000)*.001),20,S);
Mov(C,20,S);
Mov(L*(1-2*(((H-L)/((H+L)/2))*1000)*.001),20,S)
I want to run a condition where there are 2 consecutive closes above or below the upper or lower band. I am trying to run the below formula in exploration for long side but its showing wrong results.
X= Mov(H*(1+2*(((H-L)/((H+L)/2))*1000)*.001),20,S);
Ref(C,-2)<X AND Ref(C,-1)>X AND C>X
Kindly help me in correcting the formula and to run exploration.
