I've never been able to figure out how to easily pull a file name into the Security reference function. If I put Security("...., close) shouldnt the system take me to a lookup as soon as i enter " "? Instead, I keep having to manually input the directory string and filename. Is there an easier way?

The Security() function will look in the current directory for the nominated symbol, so if your data is all in one folder then you only need to enter the symbol, otherwise you have to enter the full path to the symbol data. See the MS User Manual for more. wabbit [:D]

Thanks Rabbit...Is there a way to copy that full string without writing it out? Usually you can right click on things like that and get an automatic copy.

Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the right folder then copy the location from the address bar. wabbit [:D]
