Hi,
I have eSignal and MS 11, and I use daily charts to trade, I also have Sierra charts, to compare the 2, I have set sierra charts to open and close @ 5pm EST, and it works fine, but Metastock does not. I live in the UK and have to set the charts in MS to 5PM close EST, I have tried to do this in MS when you create a new chart, but this makes no difference to the new candle opening, it seems to close at 8pm EST, but when I check the chart next day, the bars are correct, I have also set the region forward 3 hours on my PC to fool MS to think it's midnight here, but it makes no diffrence.
Any ideas? I looked at the FAQ first.

I fixed it by going into file/open then typing in the name of the symbol, then right clicking the propertys, then changing the time, but you have to leave a 5 min gap between the close and the open of the next trading session, and yes, I'm refering to daily charts.
