set last date in explorer, early help required

Hi All,
I need to run an explorer that needs the previous 1500 data points, however the explorer should use data only upto specific date like Oct 30,2010. The explorer should ignore the data after oct 30 to till date. is it possible or any alternatives? many thanks for the assistance and help needed at the earliest.

Edit the exploration and go to "Options", play around with "specific date". Maybe
you can get it to do what you want.
