Hello,
The best start would be to read and learn the Metastock manual and the Metastock Formula Builder, which are freely available. Then, I would suggest that you investigate some of the pre- programmed indicators within metastock so you can get a feel for specifics and the general idea behind the programming language. Regularly checking posts on this forum or asking questions is also a great learning tool.
