Hi! Im new at the forum and also an swedish citizien, so sometimes it might be difficult to understand me or maybe my english is not 100%.... But I wonder which powertool/system I shall use to find stocks that have reach an low RSI or low Stochastic Osch. I have heard that you can use the power tolls do all the work, instead of analyze one stock in a time... For example, I would like to search the swedish stockmarket after closing time, if there is any stock that has reached an low RSI (14) and low Stochastic Oscillator (8.3.3), is that possible to search for this and how many stocks is possible to run through? Also if its possible to search for stocks that breaks from the below 55day Moving average or 200day average, is that possible? Which power tools shall I use? I only use trend lines together with RSI, Stoch Osch and moving average and that works very good in combination....but I dont want to do all the work by my self, everyday... Best regards Swedetrader

I am fairly new and haven't used these indicators myself but I would say what you are looking for seems to be covered in the Explorer (it can be reached by using the button with the binoculars icon on in the toolbar at the top of Metastock) by the following indicators:

For RSI there is an indicator called "Equis - Relative Str Index - Expert Sys". According to the notes this will bring back any stocks which have an RSI that has crossed either under 30 or over 70. The formula is editable so you could change it to bring back stocks that have crossed under 14 instead of 30.

For the Stochastic Oscillator the indicator called "Equis - Stochastic Osc - Expert System" seems to do much the same as the RSI indicator but for the slow stochastic. It uses a sell crossover of 80 and a buy crossover of 20 but again these are editable.

Both of these can be used to search through all the stocks listed on any markets you get data for.

Not sure about the MAs but have a bit of a browse through the list of indicators that are brought up when you start the Explorer. To get details on what each of the indicators searchs for highlight the indicator and the click the "Edit..." button.

Hope this helps!

It worked fine and I have also read how to understand the indicators reports, many thanks for this. You are correct about 30 vs 70 and regarding 14 I mean the days, perfect! Many thanks!
