Hi Guys,

I've just joined this forum and this is my first post. Could someone point me in the direction of what formula manual and commands I should familiarise myself with to be able to create an Explorer which scans my portfolio for instruments who's current price spread is 4 times greater then either 'x' number of ago?

Thanking you in advance.

Regards,
Baz

Hi Baz,

Welcome to the Forum.

Instead of just picking the small subsections of the MS Users Manual which you think might solve the immediate problem, read the entire manual as it will not only solve your problem now, it will solve a lot of your future problems too. After reading the MS Users Manual, download the free Equis Formula Primer from the files section and do all of the exercises in that. It is a small amount of work that will result in many rewards later.

Thanks for that Wabbit. Timley reminder for me to revisit the manual. With so much knowledge about one sometimes forgets the basics. Must be a male thing to try everything before looking at the manual. :-)
