I'm a broker and I have realtime and historical price data in my DB server. If it possible to built my own DataOnDemand server? MataStock's sale person told me that I need MetaStock Developer's Kit (Read version). So I bought it but found nothing about DataOnDemand in the document. Could anyone here give me any suggestion? I found some where on the Internet talked about Real Time Vendor Interface Instruction. Is it my solution?
Thanks.

Have a look in the MDK User Manual for DDE services.

Why doesn't the exisitng DDE service "serve your needs"? You already have a DDE server with the MDK and MS Pro so I don't know why you'd want to buy another service if you can, as you claim, write your own service. If you don't want to write your own interface to the service, consider: http://www.traderssoft.com/T data service and save yourself the time and hassle? wabbit [:D]

Dear Wabbit,
The system I need is the Data server that be able to feed realtime and historical data. And the client part, MS, shouldn't to store or maintain any data. I think DDE services is mainly for realtime data and need to store data on client machine. So I choose DataOnDemand technology.
Actualy I don't want to buy another service. As I talked with MS's sales rep before buying MDK, It seems like it's possible to built DataOnDemand server by using MDK. So I bought it. I also sent mail to MDK's support and have got no-reply.

Someone from Equis told me that Equis used to work with a third party to integrate their feed into MetaStock. But now, the integration of additional feeds from the Equis development side is no longer offered.
Thanks....
