What does 'Snap to Price' option do?
When this option is checked anytime you draw or modify a trendline it snaps to the data item (either open, high, low, close or any indicator) closest to the tip of the mouse pointer.
To set the option Snap to price 1. Open a chart and draw a trend line. 2. Right click onto the trend line and select properties from the drop down menu. 3. Parameters tab – check the option Snap to Price.
***Helpful Hints*** Note: If you have "Snap To Price" on when you draw the trendline, you may find the trendline "jumps" while you are drawing it. You may find it difficult to place the ends of the trendline exactly where you want them. We suggest you draw your trendlines with "Snap To Price" turned off. When you have placed the ends where you want them, turn "Snap To Price" on and the trendline will relocate to the exact price closest to its ends.
