There are 2 possible reasons for this:
1. The chart tips option is not enabled, in which case, you would need to click on Tools/Options/Chart Options. Make sure that "Show Chart Tips" is selected.
2. The computer is having a resource issue. Try closing any unnecessary program currently running on your system or simply rebooting.
