Hello,

I've read some books and want to change the default template. I've made the changes to a chart of a security, and then right click on it to make it the default template. I usually open a security in a portfolio, and then press the left / right button on the bottom right corner to move between securities. For the other securities that I've opened before, the securities keep being shown in the form of the old default template. It's quite a hassle to have to right click on every security chart to apply the default template. And secondly, when afterwards I quit metastock, it will ask me to save the chart and I have to type in a file name, which I do not actually understand. Aren't the charts supposed to be opened the next time with the new template applied?

So if anyone can tell me how I can force all the securities once and for all to be shown using the new template, that will save me a lot of hassle and headache, and bewilderment.

I know how now. I deleted all the existing smartcharts. And I found out I can actually change in Options to make all the charts to be shown using the existing template for the security that's on screen.
