Hi. I am having a problem downloading prices.

1. I subscribe to the European market.

2. I updated a 100 european securities via RDL - mostly successful except I had typed in the wrong symbol for 3 of them.

3. I corrected this and tried downloading again and I got the invalid symbol error again! I checked via the lookup feature in the downloader and the symbols were correct.

4. Becoming confused, I set up a new European securitiy using the lookup feature and tried downloading data for that - same error.

Any advice?

I recently had to re-install the downloader due to a 'Failed to load Sectors and Industries symbol file - file not found' even though it was there. The re-installation corrected the problem. Perhaps RDL has down time for maintenance - if this is the case where can I go to find out when they do this.
