In PowerPivot Plus Manual they state that th PP+ Pivot Rotation is for Active Traders, but this does not trade actively. I would think that it would trade high during a course of 1 year but when I run a test I see only a average trade for 4 years is like 40 trades. To be that is not active trading.
And If I follow the manual to create a Watch List as follows:
- High Volatility
- Closing price higher than $25
- More than one point between pivots
Manual also states that PoerPivots Plus works best with very volatile stocks.Start with stocks that closed over $25 with high RSI and volume of over 1 million shares.
Here is the formula that I have for the PowerPivots Plus WatchList:
Col A: Close
Col B: RSI(close,60)
Col C: Volume
Col D: Mov(ExtFml("PowerPivots.NthPivotPrice",1,0,1)-ExtFml("PowerPivots.NthPivotPrice",-1,0,1),200,S)
Filter: ColaA>25ANDCOLA>60ANDColC>1000And COLD>1
When I run this Exploration WatchList everyday I get always the same stocks comming up as follows:
AAPL,BIDU,GILD,GOOG,ICE,ISRG,JLL,NTRI,PCP,RIMM,SHLD,WYNN
And when I run the WatchList using all NASDAQ Stocks the list compiles a large list of stocks range between 55 to 70 stocks daily.
Any suggestion how I can fine tune this WatchList Exploration to narrow down the stock list any suggestion on how to add then Buy Signal Column and a Sell Signal Column.
Does anybody have any suggestions and advice.
