I want to test Herrick Payoff Index, so I need data in the Open Interest column.

For the moment, I would like to enter manually some data to make my test and to get familiarize with the concepts.

A problem occur when I try to fill the column VOLUME and OPEN INTEREST...If I enter more then three numbers a small window open with the following message:

"Invalid character in number"

What can I do if for example:

Volume is 17 444 and Open Interest is 54 899 ???

Is there a way I can enter the whole data and not only the first three numbers?

Thank you for your answer.

Don't attempt to input separaters such as spaces or commas. From your question it appears that you're using a space to separate each group of three characters. Just a thought.

I know in my example I showed spaces but it was for the presentation. The real numbers are without space...

If I try to enter 17548, il doesn't work...in this case I could only enter 175.
