dang, never a dull day in this ole world.... had plenty things to post but markets have been too demanding of my time.... no real theme here, just some thoughts on questions presented on the forum.... please keep'em coming, we all learn..... sometime back wabbit was working on an issue for someone but mentioned he didn't have the data for that foriegn security.... the dta file contains the o,h,l,c,v,oi data.... if you send the chart, a person could strip out the data.... or you could just send the dta file.... each security has its own dta, so swapping the incoming dta with one already on your machine will allow you to open their data..... i have a special folder , called email, setup just for this..... each time i simply paste in the new incoming dta which overwrites the old..... uasish had a question about printing results from the explorer.... we really never solved it.... he wants to only print part of the 'security column data results'.... ctrl c will copy them all, not sure how to copy a select number of rows.... mentioned last month about bold statements and the kondratieff winters ..... well now its official.... gorden harm said in his weekend report , quote ""10 yr TN rate/FF rate is 0.973. Recession IS expected. Was 1.008. Expect recession when ratio is < 1.0. Ref: 1989-1990 and 2000-2001.,,,,,"" .... the switch from his past view of 'is not expected' to 'is expected' came this weekend.... subject to change of course.... several sites offer business cylces.... here is a power point presentation from gorden....... frame 36 has what i'm talking about...... you would think we could create our own with meta.... as yet i'm unsuccessful.... still trying.... so dust off that copy of metastock and prepare, the times might be a changin soon..... subject to change of course.....h
