Once I had an indicator in my metastock, that was a traling stop based on a percentage level below the price.. this one worked both for longs and shorts (when the price had declined a fixed percentage the traling changed to be above price, for short entrys...)....
In some way I succeded to delete it, and I can get the formula to work again.. the thing is that it's a really simple forumla. Maybe anyone has it/knows how it's done?
Thanks in advance!

How did you solve it Perigon? Using Jose's code?

Storkbite:
I use TS, so I just looked for the technique.. i've solved it by declaring two variables, one for the long trailing and one for the short trailing, then comparing those to yesterdays trail to chose the most relevant (if the price had dropped to much, the short trailing stop would be in use)..
