Dear all I hope you share your opinions on this issue. I am upgrading my PC to AMD Athlon 64 from Intel P4. I wonder if Metastock runs smooth in a system using AMD Athlon. Have you experienced that? Please share your idea. Thank you very much.

You should be fine running on a AMD Athalon. However, MetaStock has not been tested on 64 bit version of Windows. I have heard of customers using Windows XP 64 Bit, but just know it hasn't been tested by us on that OS. Using regular Windows XP Home or XP Pro, your 64 bit proccessor will work somewhat as if it were two 32 bit proccessors. Using muliple processors under Windows XP has been tested.

Dear Sir, I read your Message. I want to note that use Intel Pentium IV 3.6GHz and i use Hard Discs Western Digital 10000RPM. Also i use Metastock Pro 9.1 for E-Signal. My Windows is Microsoft XP Pro 32 Bit. I want to note that before upgrade my System i asked some People which had very big knowledge to PC's. They told me that an important role in Speed, have the Processor and the Speed of the Hard Discs. Also told me that the Metastock use Application that "run" in 32 Bit. So i do not need something more special like Dual Core Processors or New Windows 64 Bit because my basic Application in my PC, which is the Metastock working with 32 Bit Technology until this Moment. So i do not need any more. George Kanellopoulos.
