System testing re-downloads every time!? [RESOLVED]

Hi!
I just got Metastock "subscription version", and had 2 questions:
-When I test a system, it seems to re-download all my securities, all the time! It makes tests take forever! I'm pretty sure I already had downloaded them, or a least in a previous simulation! Is this a "cache" issue?
-Some systems are password protected. Is Equis hiding something? :wink:

1) You are probably selecting online securites if you are seeing that. You will want to download the data using the DownLoader and then run your test on the local data. When you are in the tester, browsing for data, make sure to use the copy on your local machine instead of under the QuoteCenter (online securties) area.
2) Some formulas are password protected due to copyright issues and such. So, yes, we are hiding something, the formula.
