I need to uninstall MetaStock 6.52 from a windows xp machine, where it runs ok but with a couple of problems. When I go to control panel/add-remove programs and select/click metastock 6.52, I get the message "this program is not installed- it may have already been removed- would you like to remove it from the list?", or something very close to that message. Does anybody have any suggestio s as to how I can get this program removed? I figure I can't simply delete it? Thanks in advance Bill

Technically you can just delete the program folder (C:\\Program Files\\Equis) and delete two registry keys if you want to be thorough: -HKey_Current_User>Software>Equis -HKey_Local_Machine>Software>Equis Care should be taken when making modifications to the Windows Registry. There may still be some shared files left over in System32 or Common Files folders. If you are overly concerned about these you could always try installing over the top of the current installation and try uninstalling again.

Thank You, Pyradius. It is now gone from the HD and registry. I'll now try to reinstall. Bill
