it can be a tedious attaching and removing one expert after another even if we're using only a few securites..... we could create a layout or template with various experts/indicators but by doing that we loose the full flexibility of the smart chart feature along with some lesser issues..... if your trading primarily just one security, say like 'csco', the ability to have a folder containing multiple 'csco's might be handy.... and after all, if marilyn can have a box full of belly button rings why can't we have a folder full of 'dell's..... fair is fair.... but have you ever tried to put more than one csco in a folder..... no, not like my dow90 folder mentioned before, i mean multiple same period 'csco's.... if so perhaps you've seen metastocks dead end road error message..... there are ways around that...... at times we can use a computers logical reasoning to our favor.... to me 'csco' and 'Csco' are one in the same.... but not to metastock... 'csco', 'Csco",'CSCO', 'CSco' and so on are all different.... so to put 10 daily csco's in one folder we just use this unlogical approach.... csco,Csco csco,CSco csco,CSCo csco,CSCO csco,cSCO csco,csCO csco, cscO csco,CscO csco,cScO csco,cSCo once created, each csco will act independently .... attach any expert or indicator, each will have its own smart chart to remember its unique features by..... so there will be no need to struggle with ' do you want to save changes'... half the time i have no clue which to click yes or no... so just how many csco's could we put in one folder?.... far far more than marilyn has s[censored]s in her closet..... they all should download and update okay.... each would act independent...... if you use the above method, let me offer 1 suggestion... open them 1 at a time or all 10 at the same time ..... just don't use the arrows keys to scroll thru....h
