hey geo.... that happens to me occasionaly also.... there are times when i'm doing something out of the ordinary the symbols on experts will change.... it must be something we are doing but not doing often enough to identify.... closing that chart and moving on to something else , then later reopening it almost always clears the problem.... restarting meta itself should work everytime.... that's not the answer you were huntin but your not alone in that boat.... if i ever figure out what i'm doing to cause it , will post......h

Hi guys I am trying to help a friend with the same problem using Windows 7 and Metastock EOD version 11.0. Where the Expert sits flat along the bottom of the chart and not above and below the price bars as per normal. We tried the Font solution suggested but that did not work unfortunately Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for your help on this one - I got to look at the computer with the problem first hand yesterday.

It turned out that an indicator had been included in the default template scaled to a new scale on the right. While the price data appears visible on the chart the expert wanted to be displayed where the price scale should have been.

clearing the chart of indicators and re-applying them while setting all indicators to merge with scale on the right solved the problem.

Saving this as the default and deleting smart charts solved this problem appearing on other charts.
