Hi,
I have a small query regarding variables. I read thru the MS manuals and found that we can have variables in the function. I have two queries
1. Can we have a variable which can be assigned a string literal like Var1:="ABC". When I try this, I get an error. I tried this in expert advisor.
2. We can have a variable defined in a function and access it using fmvar. I want to use a variable to share between two function calls. Can this be done. If yes, how to set the variable to different value using this fmlvar function.

I am pretty sure variables must be assigned a specific numerical value or function, no text strings
Also I am fairly certain that you cannot define a variable within a function, they must be defined by themselves.

Hey roymadhavi-
Just curious... why would you want to assign a string literal to a mathematical formula? Are you trying to create text labels?
