I'm an Investools subscriber, and I am seriously considering switching to MetaStock. The only reason I haven't is that Investools has an indicator that is very very accurate at calling market turns with the DJ-30 and Nasdaq. I trade DIA options and QQQQ options with this indicator very profitably. Investool's claims the indicator is proprietary, but I rather doubt that they invented the wheel. Surely someone has heard of it and knows how to replicate it. Here is how it works: The tool is essentially an oscillator with 3 lines moving at 3 different speeds. One line which they call a momentum line oscillates every few days. Another, which they call a near-term line oscillates nearly as quickly, and the third is much more slow, oscillating 5 or 6 times per year. They look for a few different types of signals, divergence (self explanatory), clusters (all 3 lines are oversold or over bought at the same time), and confirmation (the shortest line is fighting the long term line, but will eventually confirm the direction of the longer term line). Sound familiar to anyone?
