I'm getting a little deeper into the works to understand how the RSI works. It is not a simple "plug in six numbers and get the result" but works as an odd sort of moving average. My question is, if I specify a time period for an exploration OR an optimization, how far previous to the time period I specify does Metastock go to initiate an accurate value for RSI (and other similar indicators)? dc
