Alright I made changes to the php script on saturday night and the effects were applied on sunday morning when the server was restarted ... It seems to me that the forum is better ... Have you guys noticed any improvements ?
Please give me some feed back :D

P, this stuff is taking up to a minute per message to post... especially the edits. Also, sometimes the screen goes blank after hitting the submit button instead of taking you back to the 'view you post' screen.

Actually I have some cool data info to share ... I can tell what's working on the forum and whats not ... Funny thing I found out is we are popular in Quatar, Germany and Italy ...
Anyways I will share the info when I have a little more data ...

For right now, just hit the back button and re-submit. It will not duplicate the post since the first one was a complete choker...

The 'edit post' feature is still fried. Now it never takes my changes on some threads; others it will. It is driving me insane! ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!! :evil:

Everything is fast except posting ( wether posting or editing etc ... ) I believe I know how to fix it, I just can't do it when there are people on the forum ... like last night when the forum was down ... I don't think a new server is neccessary though I asked for one and hopefully I will get it :D
I will try to slowly improve everything ...

Yea, my enzymes were rising last night too! Every message was error this and error that... :smt076
During that time I was reflecting :smt115 and wondered if it was even related to the server at all too. I don't know...
So, software stuff is right up your alley. Should be a cake walk! I'll hold the flashlight if that'll help! :-s

I will let you know the details when all is fixed, I have yet to finish the fix.
Check the forum search and you will understand ... Let's just say that I dropped the "search" table which contained bilions of records ...

I see... but maybe it's ok cause it sorta fits your plan to cull anyway. As far as I can tell, you can still pull up past posts by author search, but only recent posts by titles. Whatever it was... you more than fixed it. I think you have the fastest web page in my favorites list. :D

Well I don't have a problem not having a good search because we have done ( I believe ) a great job compiling all the good stuff we have on the forum ...
We have tips, faqs, news, download section ... Hell I should remove the search tool :D
