Hi,

A number of years ago I wrote an External function for Metastock version 8 which works fine.

I now need to re-write from scratch a new external function for my colleague, who is now using version Metastock 10, and he has differing MSFLxx.dll's from the one that I have.

My question is, do I just sent him my version of the dll and get him to rename the versions that he has, or should I statically link the dll that is working on my PC into the code that I am writing?

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA,

Graham.
