As the new Product Manager for MetaStock, I’d like to say how excited I am about the recent release of MetaStock 12.0. This release simplifies and addresses many of the usability frustrations that customers have reported over the years.

With that said, I know that some of you, particularly the more advanced power users, are yearning for more meat. I feel your pain! Yes, I’m the MetaStock Product Manager, but more significant than a title--MetaStock has been in my DNA since 1988.

Over the last couple of years, some really smart developers have made some important under-the-hood changes in version 12.0. These core changes combined with new resources, mean MetaStock is better positioned than it has been in years for delivering great new functionality.

This forum has been a rich resource over the years. I’m monitoring it closely. It will have a strong influence on how MetaStock evolves. This forum represents people who use our product to its fullest. We are listening. I have privately reached out to some of the more active posters for direct one-on-one feedback for future functionality. But of course I’m interested in what every customer thinks. I encourage all of you to post your suggestions to the “Product Wish List” forum. Also, feel free to email me your thoughts and ideas directly at john.slauson@thomsonreuters.com.

Thank you,

John Slauson
MetaStock Product Manager
