I am trying to write translate a formula from another program which is Divergence(WilliamsR(23 periods), mov(close,3,simple),4%,13 days) The other program specifies that the divergence remains true for 13 days. Metastock doesnt seem to have the same format, specifying only the percent divergence after the 2 diverging factors, and not specifying the number of days the divergence lasts. How would i write the MS formula to specify the 13 day period in which the divergence remains tru? Many thanks

Kidap Alert("divergence formula",13); is the quick way to do it, assuming you have a divergence formula already. Other methods might be more appropriate, depending on how you construct the rest of your formula. The Alert() function extends a TRUE signal by "periods - 1" bars. Roy
