 Ha! Ummmm - no... Like horses, not too fond of horse poo - which is why I never made it in the horsey set... I used to work for an advertising agency / production house place called ImageCentre and we did their website... If we are talking old strange jobs/situations.. I did work at a ski resort in Australia (a couple of times) but the first time I really wanted to spend some time travelling before I had to come home... so I lived in a VW bus in the parking lot of Thredbo ski resort for about 4 months... froze my rear off! But I got to travel from just below Sydney to Cairns with stops and adventures all the way up... :) Not a bad trade off!

OMG! that looks like my old van... actually it was just white... but has a very interesting story. I went to Aus for the first time in 1991 and wanted to buy a vehicle just for this purpose So I had a friend look around and bought this white VW bus from a side street somewhere... I take it up to Thredbo and live in it for 4 months before setting off travelling, right? K - so does anyone remember the hitch hiker killer that was going around Australia at that time (actually 6 months - a year prior)... and I guess he had used a white VW van... by the time all this breaks the cops are doing a national hunt for a white VW van... Now, living in a car doesn't keep you up on the latest news stories. So off I go up the coast... :) 2 in the morning at some campground in the middle of nowhere some one is pounding the crap out of the side of my van... talk about freaky.... So - I throw on a tshirt and a pair of shorts (thank god!!!) and open the sliding door... I am surrounded by people with guns and flashlights.... I just about peed myself. (Picture short little me with hair poking out everywhere surround by a menacing swat team! :)). They truck me down to the police station and question me for hours. Thank god my passport was with me and I could show that I had been in the US while everyone was getting abducted. They did call my mom and freak her out. Long story short - they gave me a note that said I had been cleared to take with me... which was kind of nice because the banging on the car in the middle of the night thing happened 3 more times... by the end I was like... "hold on, I have a note... :)" I don't think they ever cleared the car though... but I had been living in the car for a while and had destroyed any possible evidence... Crazy huh?? :)

You should have made up some cool story about the van and then sold tickets to press!
