Hey K- You can create your own custom list of pink sheet stocks and use the Downloader to update them daily. Follow this thread: http://forum.equis.com/viewtopic.php?t=98omer/Support/Download/Symbols.aspx[/url]. g_ :D

First off, there are 13,914 pink sheet stocks listed on Yahoo today. The following is a sample to get you started. Get your list of pink sheet stock symbols. One free source is Yahoo Finance, avail: http://finance.yahoo.com/l?s=.pk&t=S&m=USave as "pinksheet.sym" (file type: Text- Tab delimited) Move "pinksheet.sym" to your Downloader folder e.g., C:\\Program Files\\Equis\ he DownLoader Open the Downloader, goto new | security | lookup Under "Type:" you can select your pinksheet symbols

When you have the Downloader open and select new security, just type in the name of the new folder where it says 'folder'. Then create your new files with that folder name listed. e.g., C:\\MetaStock Data\\Pink Sheets p.s., don't forget that once you create the files, you will still have to download the current data (ctrl-D, enter, enter) before you can view them in MS.

If you delete everything in the worksheet except for column A, and each row contains only the stock symbol (nothing else), then you shouldn't get that message. If so, I'd answer yes, then try to open the file with Notepad and see what it contains. Let me know.

Before saving the file, make sure you save it as .CSV ... Besides that I believe that you are on the right track ... Patrick

Well... who's editing the .sym file????? We're just creating a .sym file directly from Excel, instead of using Notepad. :D

7983 is the right port for pink sheet data. Now errors reported does not always mean that the data was NOT downloaded. Can you look at the details and tell us what it says. To look at the details just double click on a symbol with a red X. Patrick

If you're trying to d/l US data, you'll have to be subscribed to the N. America data package. Did you get your list of symbols made? If so, email them to me and I'll d/l the data and see if I can update the files for you.

Select ctrl-d to download the data. Make sure that you select the folder and/or file that you want to update.
