I am using MetaStock 9 Pro - I have problem to create OLE links from my custom indicators. When I paste Special into excel I receive a message: havent link to paste. Someone can help me?

Exactly. When I do these steps I received error messages. I am curious about syntax of cell. May you copy and paste an example to me from excel? Maybe this syntax could be useful. Best Regards

Are we talking about an OLE or a DDE link? There are no syntax / code involved with ole links ... Patrick

Dont work. definitely dont work!! I tried everything. (When I go in Excel/Insert/Object I cant see Metastock icon, probably isnt install) I am in Brazil and my MsOffice 2000 and XP are in portuguese both with last windowsupdate. I want create in excel a real-time calculate custom indicator from 100 securities. I dont know which diference between OLE and DDE link. Now I am researching about this feature (DDE Link) Is it possible? Because now I need run exploration to see result, but I would like to see in real time.

Well Metastock does not install anything in excel ...

That does not sound like a very good idea. I don't think your computer will handle 100 securities updating real time through excel ... Also most real time data providers will limit the amount of securities you can have open at the same time ...

I usually would answer that this is the job of the expert advisor, but for a 100 securities ........ Now to create an OLE link here are the steps again: open a chart in Metastock Right click on the price bars and select copy Open excel, right click on the first cell ( and only one cell ) Select past special, select paste link, select csv and click on ok.
