Cleaned up the project so I ended up with a much smaller file ... 10K I got the date range function requested by wabbit working. I only need people to test this for now as I would like to add more functions to it before it becomes the "official" dll upgrade. I also updated the source code with copyrights info and such ... Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your help Patrick  New Version uploaded on July 27 2005 at 3:48 PM Mountain Time File removed.

Patrick, I appreciate your rapid response to my code request.... I regret to you inform you though, I could not get the dll to work in MS9.0 (WinXp Pro SP2) After downloading the .[censored] (10K) file it was renamed with the dll extension. I restarted MS and the ForumDll external function was not available to MS. I closed MS and reopened and still nothing. I restarted my computer and then MS and still nothing. I renamed the version 2 dll file and replaced this file with the version 1 dll file (144K) and it works like it should. I believe there is a problem with the version 2 dll file registering with MS. You might like to check the compiler / compilation for any errors? No error messages are generated. Has anyone else had problems? Sorry I had to be the bearer of this bad news. :( wabbit :D

Failed to fire in MS9.0 EOD and MS9.1 Pro The Version 1 (144K) file works with both versions - its just the version 2 (10K) file that is having the problems.... wabbit :D [edit] the file is actually 11K, sorry!

and now another interesting devlopement.... I renamed the 144K version 1 file "ForumDll.old" and the version 2 file "ForumDll.dll" and MS is displaying me the option to use the .old file not the .dll version ????? How can that be? I have deleted completely the version 1 file (I can always download it again) and the version 2 file is still not available? Any more ideas on what I could try? wabbit :D

Do a search for Equis. In each equis\\ExternalFunctionsDll delete forumdll.dll Download it from the forum again, rename it and copy to all of these folders ... The thing is, maybe it works on my mchines because I have the MDK installed ... That's why I need to know what happened for other people ... Anyways we will figure it out :D

I originally had the first version and it was showing up....not that I know how to use it. Anyway, with MS closed, I downloaded the new version...deleted the old dll and moved the new file into the same location and changed the extension. I then checked the functions and Forumdll was not in the list. I then closed MS, restored the original file from the recycle bin and tested it again and voila...there it was. So I concluded V1 was good and V2...not so good.
