In Telechart2005, you could set MCAD in the chart as follows: MCAD(Short, Long, Period, Simple/Exp) In Metastock formula, you can only set the function: MCAD(); How can i use MCAD() in Metastock and be able to control the parameters:Short, Long, Period, Simple/Exp Al

Are we talking about the MACD Indicator? If so then here we go; the MACD is an acronym for Moving average convergence divergence indicator. It takes 2 MA's and shows the difference between the 2 Ma's Per1:=Input("fast MA",5,50,12); Per2:=Input("slow MA",10,100,26); Per3:=Input("Signal MA",5,50,9); MA1:=Mov(C,Per1,E); MA2:=Mov(C,Per2,E); Ind:=MA1-MA2; Signal:=Mov(Ind,Per3,E); Histogram:=Ind-Signal; Ind; Signal; Histogram;{Optional}
