Dear friends,

1 - I have a brand new 16GB thumb drive.

2 - I have a question: Can I install Metastock version 10 on the thumb drive instead of installing it on the normal hard drive of the notebook computer, assuming that I always maintain the same notebook and thumb drive for Metastock license recognition?

3 - Reason for this question: I carry an office notebook to the office, and, on the road during business trips. Company policies concerning notebook usage dictates that we are not supposed to install non company related software, or personal software onto the office notebook. In this case, it becomes extremely inconvenient for me to carry an additional notebook with Metastock installed.

With such big capacity thumb drives today, I was wondering if I can bypass the need for a separate notebook, by installing Metastock onto the thumb drive and execute the software just like as if I am installing it on C drive (the nornal hard drive). Kindly enlighten me on this.

Best regards
Ahlimo
