I cannot seem to locate this online or in the forum. All I seem to locate are 32-bit versions that are 64-bit *compatible, not a 64-bit *compiled version. Hopefully it is staring me in the face.
A 64-bit Metastock would take advantage of the Windows 64-bit addressing. The 32-bit versions can only take advantage of addressing a max of around 4-GB RAM, and they would not use the added benefits of 16- or 32-GB of RAM. Reason: I do an extensive amount of simulated trading with a 32-bit EOD Version 11 on a 64-bit Windows system.
The 32-bit versions of most applications are compatible with 64-bit Windows, and these would be installed in the c:\\program files (x86) directory. If anyone has a 64-bit compiled version, the Equis directory would be in the c\\program files directory of a 64-bit Win O/S.
