I use metastock for technical analysis, I recently tried to import data from excel (xlsx) the last five years the stock market values since the format (xls) has only 65,000 lines. The downloader didn't recognize the data file format (xlsx) to convert. How can I solve this problem.

I don't think it is possible to convert from xlsx, only xls. Even if you have more than 65,000 lines in the xlsx file, The Downloader only supports this number of lines anyway, so it wouldn't make a difference.

The program is a Windows EXE that I wrote in C# .NET. I download a lot of data from ForexTester dot com - they have free historical intraday forex data going back to 2001 (updated monthly). The format is the correct Metastock format except the number of lines, i.e. the files are huge and over 1 million lines, so I split them into smaller files. If you PM me one of the files you have, I can split it into smaller files for you for free. I don't know whether you can send large attachments over PM or whether the mods accept this. If they don't, then I apologise!
